Abstract of paper
The Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (“SOP Act”)

provides that an adjudication application “shall be made within 7 days after the
entitlement of the claimant to make an adjudication application first arises” [Section 13(3)(a)] and the adjudicator “shall determine an adjudication application within 7 days after the commencement of the adjudication” if no payment response and adjudication response has been made [Section 17(1)(a)].
