TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.  I apply for membership of the Society for the current calendar year ending December 31.

2.  I declare that the information I am providing in support of this application is true and correct.

3.  I declare that my work either directly or indirectly is connected with the construction industry and the law relating to it and I have a serious and active interest in construction law.

4.  If the Society decides to admit me to membership, I undertake to abide by the Constitution of the Society (and any alteration or amendment to it) and to comply with such rules made under it.

5.  I undertake to make payment of the relevant Membership Administration Fee and Annual Subscription Fee within 2 weeks of this application:

6.  If I am applying for Student Membership, I declare that I am currently a full-time student and will produce documentary evidence of such status to the Society upon request.

7.  I understand that my application will only be processed upon receipt by the Society of all payments due.

8.  I understand that the SCL (Singapore) compiles a publicly available Members Directory based on information (on name, organisation, profile) provided by members of SCL (Singapore) and that members providing relevant information are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. I agree that SCL (Singapore), its Council and the Secretariat shall not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the Members Directory. SCL (Singapore) reserves the right to edit or remove any information in the Members Directory which, at its absolute discretion, it views as erroneous, misleading or inaccurate in any respect. The information contained in the Members Directory should not be construed as an endorsement of any member, company, or individual.

9. I understand that my membership in SCL (Singapore) is individual to me and non-transferable.

10. I fully consent to the collection, use and disclosure of my personal data as appears in the online form, document or electronic template, by SCL (Singapore) for the purposes set out below.
