It has been a busy first half of the year for SCL(S). We are heartened to have continued to receive your support for our industry events.

There is significant buzz in the community over the past months, with NEC’s release of the secondary option clauses for use in Singapore. On this theme, our newsletter this month is accompanied by an article exploring collaboration in practice under Singapore’s PSSCOC Option Module E and NEC4.

One of the SCL(S) Publication Committee’s goals during our term is to also curate noteworthy regional developments for our readers. HKIAC released the new 2024 HKIAC arbitration rules, which came into effect on 1 June 2024, and an article accompanying our newsletter covers the key notable changes.

Our upcoming events calendar provides plenty of opportunities for learning and mingling. For those who have yet to sign up for our upcoming Annual Dinner at OSO Ristorante on 29 August 2024, I’d strongly encourage you!
